Keeping Our Promise |
|
Welcome to the
Keeping Our Promise campaign’s website!
Studies show
that having a CASA volunteer as a mentor and advocate makes a huge
difference in the lives of children who have been abused or neglected.
Yet less than 10% of children and youth in foster care in California
currently have a CASA volunteer in their lives. Keeping Our Promise
is a grassroots campaign to ensure that more children and youth in
California who have been abused or neglected will benefit from more CASA
volunteers. In the fall of 2007, this webpage will be updated with more
information on the goals and progress of the campaign and tools for
supporters.
As we gear up
for our campaign to help these additional children and youth, we hope
you will consider becoming a CalCASA Legislative Partner
